As I have mentioned before, I have had multiple weddings this year featuring cupcake towers in lieu of the traditional wedding cake. I even read that Carrie Underwood had a cupcake tower at her July wedding! Which I love. Thinking out of the traditional box is always a good idea for weddings and cupcakes are fun, new, and practical. As a person who does not like cake, I never eat the slice that the waiters automatically put on my plate. The freedom of a cupcake tower is that I don't have to take one and once the "first round" of guests have gotten their cupcake, if there is any left, guests are welcome to take another. And at the very end of the night, the caterer will box up any extra cupcakes for the couple to take home.
As you can see, I have a lot of love for the versatility of cupcakes at a wedding (or bridal shower!). So imagine my surprise when I came across this post by Banquet Event. Since personalization is a huge passion of mine, I pretty much am thrilled by this new take on desserts. "Ticings are gluten free, U.S. made, kosher certified, and FDA approved edible icing designs, that are like stickers for desserts." Ticings can be used on any and every pastry items which opens up the possibilities for a dessert bar which is now growing in popularity thanks to its brother, the candy bar. How awesome would it be to have your monogram on every item in your dessert bar (cookies, rice krispie treats, etc) or on all the cupcakes on your tower?! Because not only does this company have many designs to choose from, but you can create your own image! Enjoy!
